|Spin-orbit mediated entanglement in graphene|

We analyze the Spin-orbit (SO) mediated two and three qubit entanglement production in single-layer graphene, both in the clean limit and in presence of static, non magnetic impurities. For the clean samples, and taking into consideration intrinsic and extrinsic SO contributions, we found the striking result that it is possible to thermally increase the two qubit quantum correlations. On the other hand, the robustness of the spin-orbit generated entanglement against the introduction of static, non magnetic impurities is discussed for zero temperature finding that quantum entanglement could be preserved within certain parameter regimes.
