|Non-equilibrium phase transition in stochastic aggregation|

We establish carefully the presence of a non-equilibrium phase transition in the system of coalescing particles on $Z^d$ introduced by Majumdar et. al. in 1998. We investigate the nature of each phase using a combination of numerical and heuristic methods. A surprising feature of the model is the possibility to prove the existence of phase transition in all dimensions just by analysing the first few equations of the Hopf chain.
