Coherent quantum dynamics in the quantum spherical model - summary and current situation (2)

We shall go through the main ideas and basic concepts of a coherent quantum dynamics (density-matrix theory, Lindblad equations) and discuss their importance to the quantum coherence. Once having introduced these techniques, we shall turn to the spherical model and explicitly solve the problem of the relaxation of a single quantum spherical spin. Here, the main idea is how to apply an algebraic constraint to the coherent quantum formalism. The zero-field solution as well as the mean-field phase diagram will be presented. To close the synopsis, we will describe the N-body problem and show ideas and strategies on how to solve it up to the current state of my work. reference: J. Phys. A: Math.
