Activités de recherche

Transitions de phases d'équilibre et hors équilibre. Méthodes provenant de la théorie de champ, notamment de l'invariance conforme et des systèmes intégrables. Généralisation du principe de l'invariance d'échelle aux transformations d'échelle locales, en particulier en dynamique. Applications: théorie du vieillissement, croissance des interfaces.
Responsable du Cursus Intégré trinational de Physique Saar-Lor-Lux (SLLS).

Phasenübergänge im Gleichgewicht und fern vom Gleichgewicht. Feldtheoretische Methoden, insbesondere konforme Invarianz und integrable Systeme. Verallgemeinerung des Skalenverhaltens hin zu einer lokalen Skaleninvarianz, insbesondere für die Dynamik. Anwendungen: Theorie von Alterungsprozessen, Grenzflächenwachstum.
Verantwortlicher für den integrierten trinationalen Studiengang Physik Saar-Lor-Lux (SLLS).

Transições de fases em equilíbrio e fora do equilíbrio. Métodos da teoria do campo e da invariância conforma e também dos sistemas integráveis. Geralisação do comportamento de escala para uma invariância de escala local, em particular para a dinâmica. Aplicações: teoria do envelhecimento, crescimento dos interfaces.
Sou o responsável do Curso Integrado trinacional da Física Saarbrücken-Nancy-Luxemburgo (SLLS).
